It also has the advantage of allowing you to redirect some of that damage to a new target if your first shot is a kill, but the disadvantage of a short range. And the DPR gain is less than 2 points on average, above AC 13. So you'd probably need to value that two target option a fair bit to make it worth giving up the other benefits of higher DEX.</blockquote>
