i've noticed that many of you guys and girls out there have a picture and a little quote, I WANT THAT!!! how do you do it?

Go to the User CP(up at the top of the page). Signature puts the stuff at the bottom, and you can add an Avatar too.

This sort of question belongs in the Meta forum, so I'll slide it over.
As Ankh-Morpork Guard said, you can change your sig and add an avatar in the user control panel. To add a custom quote, you just need to become a Community Supporter. We'll appreciate it if you do!
