From the description of web: Each creature that starts its turn in the webs or that enters them during its turn must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is restrained as long as it remains in the webs or until it breaks free. Careful Spell: When you cast a spell that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can protect some of those creatures from the spell's full force. To do so, you spend 1 sorcery point and choose a number of those creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature). A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw against the spell. So if I cast a Web on a melee scrum with a bunch of good and bad guys and use Careful Spell to make my allies pass their saves what happens? Does that mean they can walk around the web with imunity to being restrained? Does it mean they make their save theon the first turn? Does it do nothing at all because the save was not on the same turn as the casting? What if I designate an ally who is not in the web when I cast it, but he walks into it on a later round?
