how does one market a physical item?(where would you go to buy a boat?)

thanks to rpgnow anyone can offer up their electronic gaming product very easily and there are numerous ways to get a book out to folks in the community, but how does one get a distributor for a gaming aid outside of these?

i have made 3 boats at 1"=5' and sent them off to a moldmaker who is prepping them for casting. i have made a chinese junk, a more traditional european 3 mast ship and a viking longboat. i think they will make excellent gaming aids but have no idea how to get them in front of an audience.

any suggestions?

You may want to try portent.net. The wargaming crowd may be a lucrative market to tap. Warhammer minis are on just about the same scale as D&D minis and those guys spends $100s on stuff like this.

For market as ours - EBAY would be a choice, the secret is finding all the niches they can fit into and selling there.
