How does submitting a news scoop work?

There used to be a thread on the old EN World about formatting news scoops. Do we still have that somewhere? I send one along, but I wasn't sure what all of the options were that came up. I know on the old EN World, it was way too long. Are there still guidelines for this that I am just blindly missing? Thanks!

There are presently no guidelines, though there probably will be in time, when everything has settled down and the more important issues resolved.

I dealt with your scoop and it was mostly fine - though a title would have been good You might also want to think about adding an image to your news article - this will then be used both inline and as the main image on the news page. Oh, and a short description (the subtitle) of what the article is about.

Other than that, use bbcode as normal for links, highlights, bold, etc, and feel free to add additional images to your article. As for length there are no restrictions, though it's best to keep it succinct and to the point I guess (you can always link your scoop directly to a thread by typing the thread id into the Thread ID text box).

The good thing about the new system is that instead of only getting a single line or short paragraph, you now how an entire page to play with. It allows you to provide much more information.
