When haste is cast, you immediately gain a +4 Haste Bonus to Armor class as well as an extra partial action each round. You do get a partial action the round you cast it.

A partial action can be.....
Move double move rate
Partial Charge (Normal distance charge)
Cast a (1 action casting time) Spell
Activate a Magic Item...these are just examples.

You gain a +4 haste bonus to your AC. Thus, if your AC is 15 (+4 chain shirt, +1 dex), it is now 19 (+4 chain shirt, +1 dex, +4 haste). You lose this bonus to your AC whenever you would lose a dodge bonus.

Your jump distances are multiplied by 1.5.

You get an additional partial action each round, either before your normal action or after it. What you can do in a partial action is listed in the PH on page 127. For instance, you may make a single melee or ranged attack or cast a 1-action spell. Remember, this is in addition to your normal action in a round. Thus, a hasted wizard can move his speed and cast a 1-action spell, then cast another 1-action spell for his partial action.

ENBoards are not intended to be a replacement for reading the rules.

You know, there is a glossary for this kind of thing.

PHB, pg 280.

Or you could look in the cobat section of the PHB, pg 127.

Well, we do get a lot of questions that are answered by reading the rules. I know, I've asked some of them. Sometimwes people read the rules and don't quite understand. Sometimes, you just miss that section. Sometimes, you just get confused. It's okay. We all do it.

From Table 8-3 on PH p.127:
You mean "move single move rate", not double.
Also allowed is a "partial run", in a straight line at x2 speed.

You know, Kwalish Kid, is right, though!

Before you ask a question, at the very least, do us and yourself the favor of looking in the Glossary and the Index of the PHB, just to check if it doesn't state it there.
