we have the advantage that we only have 2 players and 2 cohorts but the problem that I see with the divide everything up by value is this: It works fine if you can determine what the stuff is right now. but often you don't know what stuff is and the charachters want to divide the stuff up now. this is usually how things go. afterwards we find out exactally what we've gotten. Of course this is for items taken from fallen enemies. We're a lot more careful with stuff looted from cursed temples and such. Dru: "the longsword, shortsword, all three rings, these gloves, that rope, the leather armor and both of those goggles have a magic aura." Di'Fier: "Thart's great Dru, but what do they do?" Dru: "    ed if I know. hold on" She lists the schools that the items are from when she can tell. Di'Fier: "I'll look too." He says an draconic word and waves his hand. He begins studying the items. "Well we saw the guy using that ring change apearence, and that sword had electrisity coming off it. And both the googles seem like goggles of minute seeing." he says looking thrugh the googles. Anz: "I'll take one of the goggles and maybe the rope . . . . if no one else wants them" Dru: "If those gloves are what I think they are" She tries on the gloves and punches Di'Fier in the arm. "Did that hurt more than normal?" Di'Fier: "Ow. Yeah." Dru: "cool" Di'Fier (rubbing his arm): "This ring was being worn by the Halfling and he was almost impossible to hit I bet it's a ring of protection. Anyone mind if I get this? It's aura seemed more powerful than the one I'm wearing." Dru: "Yeah it did. and the school is right. If that little silver ring changes your apperance I want it, and I'll take the gloves if no one else wants them." Di'Fier and Anz both hold up their hands showing them enclosed in leather gloves. "Their your's" Anz: "well each of you got a ring and there's one ring left." Taking the last ring and inspecting it closely. Di'Fier: "I'm out of fingers" Dru: "me too" Anz (smiling): "I wan't asking" Di'Fier (putting on the possible ring of protection): "Dru hit me again. Hey Anz you want a better ring of Protection? I've got this one that better than your's. Ow." He tosses the ring to Anz who catches it nimbly. Anz: "thanks, so I get the googles and the rope and this ring we don't know about" He says a word in elven and waves his fingers "Abjuration" he puts it on. " . . .hey it's an endure elements ring." Di'Fier: "We should save that electric long sword for Romeleo, then we'll sell the rest and divide up the shares evenly" Anz: "All you want is the one ring of protection?" Di'Fier: "I get first dibs on the spell books" Anz: "Well you can have the evocation one for free, but I want the transmutation one. then you get first pick" Di'fer: "Deal" Dru: "Come on lets get out of here, this place is creepy." Di'Fier: "I think it's cool" Anz: "Yeah now that we've figured it out" Dru: "You wizards are weird" Di'Fier: "we're not even normal for wizards"
