The idea was that someone who was good enough to set off a Detect Good spell was (at that point in time) destined to do more good things than evil things in the balance of their life. It was an interesting concept that will probably surface in a future campaign.Over all, though, the number of truly Good or Evil people in my campaigns generally mirror that in real life; that is to say, most people are Neutral Apathetic or Neutral Selfish, with the occasional dip into human-sacrificing, daemonic-pacting, outwardly-noble consummate evil being a shocking change from the ennui of brigands, pirates, tax collectors and mutants.</blockquote>
