How fast does a community replenish its disposable income?

In the DMG, there is a section which discusses how much money/equipment is available in a town, depending on the size of the population.

However, I am unable to discover how soon a town is able to replenish its money/equipment if the PCs buy/spend the town's maximum.

Can anyone clue me in?

Well.... there are no real rules as far as I know, but let's postulate a few issues:

- depends upon the amount of trade / how close the village is to other 'civilized centres', a village on the frontier may have more trouble then one close to a large metropolis
- how much cash do the adventurers themselves inject back into the place? (If they find a large stash of coins which they spend...)
- does the village have export items, or is it largely self contained / self sufficient (ties into the amount of trade in the village issue)
- travel distance (if the nearest centre is a weeks travel, before new merchandise and money have exchanged hands, several weeks will have passed at the barest minimum

So... there are many variables. If too much 'real world' economics are of no concern, then I would stipulate that the population 'generates' about 1/4 gp per day per head in cash, thus a village of 100 ppl would 'grow' 25 gp in cash per day once the cash reserves have been depleted.
