Message: <blockquote data-quote="Methos" data-source="post: 2183600" data-attributes="member: 5734">I pretty much stink!Well, I'm not actually all that bad (I don't think), but I'm going to put myself in the "stinky" category for now since I'm going to be DM'ing a game for about the first time in about 15 years except for a "one-off" a few years ago.  As a result, I'm horribly out of practice.  Having said that, I'm busily building out my world from the outside in right now, and I'm hoping to get the players a "high level" world document within the next week, things like the mythology of the world, information about deities, a bit of world history (which would be the common stuff).  This will be the basics of the world that the players would commonly know about to get them thinking about potential character concepts.  The following week will be the players character development document which will let them know the technical side of building a character, i.e. races, classes, prestige classes, feats allowed etc.  They will then be able to put together their characters.Hopefully, if things go well in my initial planning, the campaign will get off to a good start and with a good first adventure that I have in mind...................maybe I won't be as bad as I think I am.   <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f615.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":confused:" title="Confused    :confused:"  data-smilie="5"data-shortname=":confused:" /> cheersMethos</blockquote>
