When they were low level (1-3) it was a problem. One day they were 8th level and they passed back through the dungeon entrance area where the goblin tribe gave them grief before, and a whole bunch of those level 1-3 goblins swarmed out, and the PCs trashed the heck out of them (actually, weirdly the goblins rolled really well and the PCs rolled terribly and hilarity ensued, but it was still a rout). I think that was about the time DMG2 was coming out, or some suggestion somewhere appeared about that whole "revisit the wimpy opponent" thing. It works, once or twice. Players enjoy a roflstomp now and then.</p></blockquote><p></p>
