I found this feat: WEAPON TRICKS [General] COPYRIGHT 2001, Carl Cramér Each time the character takes the feat, it applies to a new weapon. Benefit: Many types of melee weapons can conceivably do two different types of damage. Examples are swords (could do slashing or piercing), picks (could do bludgeoning or piercing) and single-edged or bludgeon-backed axes (could do slashing and bludgeoning). When wielding such a weapon, you can opt to do either of the two types of damage. Notes: The DM is the final arbiter on what types of damage a weapon can do, based on the illustration, common sense and his knowledge on how these weapons are used in real life. If in doubt, go with your gut feeling. Balance: 4.55 (Purp 4.50, Pow 4.50, Port 4.75, Comp 4.25, Rule 4.75) And I jump for joy; me and my DM had been discussing about the spiked chain, which is a piercing weapon, and my DM dislikes Homebrew rules(So it can't be a Bludgeoning and piercing). And when I show him this feat, he says that you could not enchant it with Disruption, even with this feat "A spiked chain is a spiked chain, no matter how you use it" I respect his rulling and can see his reasoning. But is it the way?How is it done?My reasoning is that beacause the feat makes a weapon bludgeoning(I/A) and the enchantment will only work on a weapon, when it is used as a blunt weapon, ergo no problem. Note: my DM has said it can deal Bludgeoning damage
