How mad can you be?

I currently a 'nutter' psion, 13th level. During my life it is my intention to fight hand to hand every creature that I can, with a dagger. As well as being swallowed by all the creatures than can (looking forward to the tarrasque - if I can find it). I am slowly working through both lists. I was wondering if there are other mad ideas that people could think of that might be interesting experiences.

I played a character who suffered from schizophrenia once. He was a monk who had visions of his ancestors talking to him, giving him advice.

The twist was, he also really did receive those visions, but he couldn't distinguish between the real ones and the fake ones, so he always acted on their advice - no matter how ridiculous. The DM provided the visions for me so that I as a player didn't even know which were real and which were fake.

I've always thought visions/hearing things were great in a slightly crazy character because you might be able to trick the rest of your party into going with you.
