My campaign has been going since 1980 and has survived despite Players enlisting in the military (and rejoining after) and others who moved out of state ( 4 different players) with all having since returned to jump right back into the fray. We have had wives and girlfriends come and go. We have a daughter who now plays along side her mother .We have endured changing from AD&D to 2nd then 3rd and now 3.5. We had even gone 2 years at one point without a game due to varied outside influences. We have survived what others would see as a true kiss of death,a couple of players who divorced and the ex wife now dates/lives with one of the other players. But everyone still plays.Same campaign, same DM , same core group of guys and girls. And I know of and still occasionally play in another campaign that has been around since 1975.  In truth all you need is the desire to pick up where you left off.</p></blockquote><p></p>
