I'm experimenting with doing this for the chain warlock in my game to help keep her imp relevant (and also giving it a d4 HD every level). There was previous analysis done that showed it keeping pace with the fighter, but failed to compare it to a hunter ranger (and also gave it an extra +2 damage that I couldn't account for). An offhand attack with colossus slayer and hunter's mark pulls ahead considerably.</blockquote>
