You talk about your setting a lot.
Hey, I just
loooove getting feedback.
Besides, I am putting a lot of work into it, and I want that it gets done
right.
How do you justify its price on diamonds without a cartel?
Is the price of diamonds in D&D a problem? I wasn't aware of that...
Well, then here are some possibilities:
- High demand: Diamonds are often used up thanks to some spells, instead of just being used as fashion accessories.
- Low supply: Who says that diamonds are as common on Rothea as they are on Earth?
Come to think of it, a cartel that secures a monopoly on some resource (not neccessarily diamonds) and drives up the prices would fit in very well with
Urbis, and I think I'll have to put some in there somewhere...
Thanks for the idea!
