As the title states, how much do you spend (currently, say within the last year or so) on buying gaming products per month? Included are books, dice, pdf, mini's and anything else I have missed.

I got curious about this after looking at the size of some people's collections, gaming books can be a hard expense to justify to significant others if they don't share your habit.

Edited to add: I used the initial $25 sizes as most of the books I buy are from amazon.com or .ca and for about $20 to $30 dollars.... And I have no clue about other people's expenditures and this is really just out of complete curiosity.

Personally, I spend about $50 to 75 per month on new books.

In the 90's, I was spending about $200 a month, or more. Nowadays, maybe $25-$50 every other month (1 book + 1 supplement), if I'm lucky.

For the last year, $5.99 a month...right here at ENWorld!:D

The last time I moved, I pared down my RPG collection to a much smaller but respectable (and convenient) collection of books. My criteria was to get rid of everything I'd either never used, or was never going to use. For right now (and most likely for the future also), I really don't need anything else. Even pared down, I've still got more than enough for a lifetime of roleplaying. I'm not above buying a truly awesome product if I come across it, but it has to be pretty damn good to be worth my while (read as an instant essential or classic). But mostly it's just services and forums that interest me now. Personally, I think that's probably the direction that the "industry" will need to go in the future to remain successful. Advice to WotC: if you want my money, give me something I want to buy...like non-system specific resources at a better price and quality than the other guys, and a store where I can buy older edition material in electronic format...and stop doing things that make me not want to buy from you...

I choose the $26 - $50 bracket, but that's the average. Some months it's less because it's a slow month on my Paizo subs, sometimes it's more because it's a heavy month on the subs or something came out from Post Human or Crafty. Next month will be higher as I'm picking the hard copies of some Fantasy Craft PDFs up.

I just recently joined the $26-50 club after a very long time of an average of about $5 a month (nothing throughout most of the year and then a splurge at winter holiday and tax return).

Now that I have a bit more income, I'm keeping up with Essentials and Pathfinder hardcovers and slowly rebuilding my collection of older stuff.

A year ago I was easily in the 26-50 range probably the 51-75 most months. Nowadays it is the 1-25 and the low side of that as well. I have discovered other things to spend money on.

I average a book or dungeon tiles or something every month, so about 20-30 dollars, so I voted on the low end. It is not a whole lot, really.

Even if I bought everything I wanted, it would not go up much. Most of the stuff available is not necessary.

My only regular expense is my Pathfinder (Adventure Path) sub, at ~$15 per month. That's also pretty much my only game-related expense, as I now have more material than I could ever use (and am actually now more interested in homebrewing my own game up than in following any existing game).

I have, however, just spent a whole load of money on new paints, and may find myself spending some money on miniatures going forward. We'll see.

At the moment, nothing at all. Being one of the Colossal Collection folks, I've got pretty much everything I need. I am interested in picking up a couple of the Paizo books (APG, Bestiary II) but am waiting until after Xmas. I also have a subscription to Slumbering Tsar from Frog God Games, but prepaid the whole thing several months ago, so I don't think that counts.

(In the past, my expenditure has been higher - sometimes lots higher - but there are only a handful of things I'd like to get these days, and I can wait for those.)
