Welcome to Senior Gaming ;) Since I am 45, nearly 46, I can say that :D Okay, your dice rolling relfexes slow down a bit, you get annoyed with the tiny print in game books, and have to explain to folks while you still play "a kids game", but there are many benefits. First up, you look like a guru to anyone you game with and can claim the title of Gaming Philosopher (this works especially well if you are familiar with at least three different rpg systems). Next, people ask you what it was like to game back in the Old Days. Tell 'em stories! Pull a Grandpa Simpson on 'em! They'll eat it up! Then, of course, no one worries if you drink during your games. It's just your magic potion, isn't it? Finally, you can revel in the fact that you are enjoying a great game with a lot of social interaction; equally you know your dreams of heroism have never died. I would never deny the snazzy of that ;)
