How to Figure Out the Powers of an Item

This scepter my group found is pretty much a staff that is Lawful and can cast Lawful spells. Dictum 1/month, Protection from Chaos 1/day, etc. My character doesn't know exactly what it can cast, just that it can. We know it's Lawful cause we saw it smack our CN Barbarian pretty friggin' hard.

I guess Analyze Dweomers is the only way... or is it?

Analyze is the best and most accurate way to go.
