Interesting I didn't see these kind of objections to this use of the QFTT when it was used in just this same way in Piratecat's story hour. :) I'm going to try it :D If it works it works if it don't it don't - oh well :) As to the dragon - its gone out of its way to demonstrate that it is a white dragon. Breathing what looked like a cone of cold vapors, plus a couple other things. I've started to think the DM slapped some sort of template on it and is using the pink eyes to throw us off. If it is templated I'm guessing the template would remove one of the big weaknesses a white dragon has - vulnerability to fire. So I've been wracking my brains on alternate methods of taking it down. Some other info - character makeup 1. Human Priest of Hathor (CL8/DD3/Con1) 2. Elven Mage 12 3. Human Brb/Rng/Flame Steward 12th level total 4. Human Ftr/DWS/OOBI 11th level total 5. Aasimar Paladin of Torm (Pal8/Sor1/Nthrmn2) 6. Tiefling Ftr5/Rog3/NotCM2 7. Halfelven Druid 11 The dragon has been helping us, sort of. Our group was working to stop some barbarian/lycanthropes led by a fallen priest of Malar turned to Talos aided by some Frost giants allied with devils. The dragon had been giving us information regarding the whereabouts and goings on of the groups we were after. However, being suspicios of evil dragons by nature I did some divinations. They revealed that this dragon (Ryvnorax) was working with the Aurlites (who we had opposed earlier). They also revealed that "The frost will rise when the thunder stops" - something we have taken to mean that the Aurilites will gain power if the Talosian priest and his cronies are stopped. Now that we have stopped this talosian, we are just waiting for ole whitey to jump us as we trek around the wilderness outside of Silverymoon. We have the means to travel very quickly and most likely avoid him (and the Aurilites) right now, but its just a matter of time before were caught out in the open.
