D&D 5E How to Make a Bloodborne Hunter?

I've been curious for a while, how would one go about making an effective Hunter from Bloodborne? 5e.14 and .24 are both viable, I'm thinking something involving Great Old One Warlock, but I want to know how y'all think it would be done.

Depends o the Bloodborne build your going for. On the cover is probably just a fighter. But a GOO lock would work well for an arcane focused version

It's sorta hard to convert the vibes of Bloodborne to D&D, because FromSoft games are big on skill and timing and reflexes, and D&D is just luck of the dice with a small bit of tactics.

So I'd try to lean into the tactics side of things, and make a character with a variety of reactions, and maybe some buffs you can apply that require concentration so you need to gauge when they're safe to use. A Battlemaster fighter multiclassed with Great Old One warlock gives you some pretty interesting tools, even if they're not especially synergistic.

But really, what makes a hunter is the prey. I'd recommend speaking with your GM to ensure whatever character you do build, there's something dangerous to hunt that has a bit of depth to its fighting style. Have the GM give it a couple different types of attacks, so you can't just rely on wading into melee and hoping you roll well.
