How to Make a Retiarius Build

I'm trying to make a fighter trained as a Retiarius -- this is the gladiatorial fighting style with a net and trident.

Any suggestions on feats to take to make this build work, or at least not completely suck? Are there any feats that would allow my Retiarius to use both the net (a ranged weapon) and his trident (a melee weapon) in the same round?

You may need a custom feat or two.

Perhaps only one:

Retiarius fighting style.

Prerequsites:

Improved Two-Weapon Defense.


Benefits:

You may use your net defensively, getting a +2 shield bonus instead the +1 shled bonus granted by Two-Weapon Defense.

You may throw your net and follow up with a trident attack. Neither of these attack suffers any Two-Weapom Fighting penalty.

There you go. Just a starter to get you going.

You want the Net and Trident style feat from Complete Warrior. If you hit with the net and succeed on a Str check you can take a 5' step and make a full attack with the trident in the same round.
