Message: <blockquote data-quote="hopeless" data-source="post: 2840227" data-attributes="member: 36349">Reg: EncumberanceHe's actually the most experience DM i've played under and didn't see any problems until he killed off three characters being run by new player who took it badly (he started walking on tables, I called a mutual friend to make sure he was okay later and still feel guilty that I didn't do anything at the time), Another friend who came to pay for the night was given a Good aligned undead elven knight to play and DM then prevented me from giving him anything that could let him help us fight off a dragon who he later indicated had swallowed the undead character or at least left him on the bottom of the swamp watery floor.He also admitted after that game that he deliberately made attack rolls as criticals against two now former players because they were annoying him even though there was no need and the only reason he didn't succeed in killing off their characters was because I made a point of staying at the back of the party and even though I was the first to race back there he still allowed the others who came after me reach them first!He just recently killed off my cleric using as an excuse an old enemy of the party even though we killed off its leader and with us heading after an army of devils and slaad which had been raiding the area you would have thought he would have realised they would have waited until AFTER we fought them when we would be at our weakest...NO he killed off the only cleric with the ability to cast Raise Dead insuring even if they brought him back he wouldn't have that capability and then to add insult to injury offered to let me run the assassin!I'm taking a few weeks off to get over my growing dislike of the idiot and although they have raised my character I'm prepping a Kingdom of Kalamar game to run and although I suspect he'll avoid either participating or letting me get that chance if I do get to run it and he plays I'm going to show him how to run the game properly!By the way he's pretty much ignored encumberance rules as far as I can tell. Odd given he's pulled all sorts of tricks against those players who annoyed him (Currently was me, but it will be interesting to see how the others cope without me to run interference...)</blockquote>
