It's a great time. (Sadly, my wife asked me not to go due to the proximity to the holidays and I have to agree.) What got me to go to AnonyCon and even volunteer for DMing Living Greyhawk (and get top marks from the players) was that they asked and they treated me right. They didn't know me from a hole in the wall, but I got a t-shirt, admission and had a good time. Met a lot of great folks too. I also go to ICon every year on Long Island. Same reasons. They appreciate me running a game or three. They also feed me, which I consider a perk. I would do it without the food because of their positive approach.To second what someone said, personal recruitment works best. If you go to other conventions, bring along an invite to yours. Hand it out to DMs that you see who are doing a good job and have their players entertained. Do consider trying to get more than the 84 that you need. You will have some cancellations. Good luck!
