Message: <blockquote data-quote="apsuman" data-source="post: 263842" data-attributes="member: 1769">Re: Re: Re: How to shoot 8 spells at once using only hasteI like to think that I am big enough to correct my mistakes, and I was wrong, I read your post and assumed you meant in one round.However, there are still a few questions, first when did you cast that eye spell?You said 8 spells at once, then proceed to count the bear attacking as a spell, this confuses me.  I would count your list as 7 and instead of calling them spells I would say spell effects.  The eye thing you count as two spells are really the effects of a spell cast some time other.  It would be like counting the continuing damage from Melf Acid Arrow as a spell in the off rounds.  So we are down to 5 spells, and an attack by a bear, and two effects from a previously cast spell.  But youare right these are all legal -- no complaints from me on that point.But you say that there is no way for a person to dispell two of these effects.  Why not?  They could dispell the eye spell, (right?), and they could do that on thier initiative. while you were summoning.  They can counter the summon, right?(I am asking because it seems ike either I misunderstand the rules, or you are doing something I did not know about).They could disrupt your summon by damage (requiring a concentration check) or by casting some other spell, say grease (or heighted grease) on you.And, correct me if I am wrong, but I would think that your full round spell (even if hasted) would cause the bear to appear in round 2, not round 1.g!</blockquote>
