Message: <blockquote data-quote="Richards" data-source="post: 9527674" data-attributes="member: 508">In today's "Dreams of Erthe" session, the PCs:<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Met up in the Dreamlands, and were told that a neighboring dream galaxy had skimmed by their own, resulting in a number of alien dream-fragments inhabiting a few of the dreams of the local residents, and the PCs, being dreamwalkers, were being sent in to deal with them</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Entered the first dreamscape to find themselves in a giant's dwelling</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Were soon discovered by those who lived in the giant house: a pair of 12-foot-tall Rabbids</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Took out the Rabbids with a black tentacles spell coupled with a blade barrier spell (one of the Rabbids never got to leave the spot in which he was stuck), and used ranged attack spells to take care of the other one</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Entered the second dreamscape to find a town under attack by three kaiju: Mecha Godzilla, Varan, and Gyaos</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Transformed into their spirit kaiju forms (Anguiras, Gamera, Gigan, King Caesar, and MOGUERA) and battled it out in a five-vs.-three fight (using the Giant Monster Rampage game rules), eventually taking down all three monsters</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Entered the third dreamscape, a packed opera house with the audience asleep, and Jigglypuff on stage getting angry about their lack of attention</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Took out Jigglypuff with a chain lightning spell, only to have him evolve into the slightly-more-powerful Wigglytuff</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Angered Wigglytuff until he expanded from Medium to Gargantuan size, but then silenced him and took him out with a dismissal spell (sending him back to his home Dreamlands)</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Entered the fourth dreamscape to find an army of Blue Meanies (including Snapping Turtle Turks, Apple Bonkers, and the Dreadful Flying Glove) attacking an outdoor concert, turning the townspeople into stone</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Blinded everyone but Glove with a sunburst spell (which also slew half of the Blue Meanies), then took the rest out with a fire storm spell</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Continued on with their regularly scheduled nightly dreamwalker training</li> </ul>I have Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff (Pokémon) minis that put them at Medium size at D&D Minis scale, and when Wigglytuff expanded in size, I used a Jigglypuff stuffed animal.  The Rabbids (from the Nickelodeon show of the same name) were two Burger King (or McDonald's, I've forgotten) kid's meal toys Harry got some years back. The kaiju all came from my plastic monster collection, and the only homemade tokens I had to build were the Blue Meanie army forces.  I spent more time printing them and cutting them out than they got to see actual game time, but that's always a possibility when the PCs arw 18th level.Johnathan</blockquote>
