In the previous editions, this item did not give Magic resistance (Spell Resistance in 3rd Ed terms), instead it granted this ability: You got a saving throw against any magical effect that did not allow a saving throw. The saving throw was a set DC 20 plus any saving throw bonuses. For example, in 3rd Edition terms if you have a Cloak of Resistance+3 and +1 Luck bonus to saves from Prayer, then you could "save" against a Magic Missile by rolling 16 or higher.So I rules: you would get a saving throw versus any spell or spell-like effect that had "Saving Throw: None". Only bonuses that added to *all* saving throws would apply (for example, something that gave you a +4 versus Will saves or +2 versus Poison would not apply, because they did not all to *all* saving throws). The energy absorbing section stays the same and the item is still consumed once all of these 12 charges are used.What would the cost be for this?</blockquote>
