Hi all! :) Interesting question. I probably don't know enough about the Transformers themselves to give an accurate assessment. However, I have seen many people compare the likes of Unicron to Ego from the Marvel Universe. So that suggests they are slightly above Greater Deities in terms of power. So you want them to be probably Elder Ones (Divine Rank 24), which will give them a CR of, on average, 175 or thereabouts. Although I created size rules which allow for creatures of Universe size (in the IH - Epic Bestiary), I generally don't advocate using lots of Hit Dice if you can avoid it. For instance in the Immortals Handbook: Ascension I have stats for Algol (The Demon Star), which is partly inspired by Lovecraft's Azathoth. Algol (an Old One: Divine Rank 32) only has 201 Hit Dice, and the creature itself is only 200 feet in diamater. However, its Divine Aura (which manifests as partly fire) radiates out to 50,000 miles, so it does look like a Star. I'd probably suggest doing sentient planets in a similar way. The core nucleus could be, say 150 Hit Dice. However, its divine aura will extend to 4000 mile radius (or whatever). Within this radius the creature can manipulate the reality of its surroundings. So Cybertron may technically be planetary sized, but to injure it you would have to attack the nucleus which may only be 'Godzilla' sized. You could say that the laws of reality* break down when monsters get to a certain amount of Hit Dice. ;) *or is that d20.
