The have a barbed tail similar to a scorpions or a manticore which they withhold for a last ditch attempt at protecting themselves. </p><p></p><p>Head: Female Lion-like/ Humanoid At the top of the head it has a carapace that goes to the mid region of its head., Neck: Humanoid/ with a turtle like carapace on the vital jugular region and on the back of it: Torso Humanoid: Torso front: both lizard like scales which are brightly colored in shades of blues and greens, and on its sides and back it is colored in more earth tones or darker colorations which help to blend into the under growth. Torso back: In addition to above coloration it has a continuing band of the armor like carapace going down its spine flowing into the scorpion like tail at its rear. Four displacer beast like tentacles sprout from just above its scorpion like tail. Over the whole of its body it has a barely visible pelt of hair which keeps it warm in its high altitude home. Upper arms are very human like with six fingered many jointed hands which they are capable of using to hold weapons such as spears and short swords. First set of legs hold a set of feet which are hand like in nature and are able to grasp and to assist in climbing. Back legs are built like a mountain cats and are strong for climbing. Monstrous humanoid or Outsider (native): Speaks common and Dwarven. They typically live for seven hundred years or more though many of them have been hunted down and they are on the verge of extinction. Now they are thought to be a sign of impending bad luck when seen in the mountains as those who trespass on their territory suffer from falling boulders and avalanches. Very territorial, aggressive and protective of their mountain top caves, pack based monster like wolves. They are particularly fond of alcoholic beverages made from the fermented roots of the Silver Mountain Rose of the Crag which are common to the region in which they live, sometimes they trade this for implements of metal or for other goods from those few people who they befriend. Borough at a speed of 10 ft. They have a knack for collecting gold and other precious metals which they have found other races to like so they often use them to buy safety from hunters or for trade with their allies.
