The port would likely never shut down, IMO, except maybe a couple of days in Nightal, some scattered days in Hammer, and then maybe a day or two in Alturiak - all depending on the weather.Generally during those months, it will rain more than anything else (think Seattle or Vancouver). Since absolutely *nothing* has been mentioned about ocean currents in any FR book, we have little else to go on.</blockquote>
