[QUOTE="KingOfChaos, post: 32285, member: 2375"] Tell me what you think of this idea? Blood Lancer Assassin Prestige Class "Magic is power, but nothing beats piercing an enemy through the back and watching their heart pulse it's last beats at the end of my blood lance" The Blood Lancer Assassin is a arcane spell caster who finds that they are more naturally adapted to flying than walking. Most Blood Lancers are a part of a group, like mosquitoes, they travel in groups or guilds and work for the highest bidder. They are known for their masterful flight and for their blood sucking weaponry. The Blood Lancer uses a specially prepared lance made of an extremely light metal that is enchanted to drain the blood from any enemy it pierces. The Blood Lancer Assassin prestige class is prohibited to sorcerers and wizards simply because the group does not allow clerics, paladins, bards or any other class which cannot fly through magic to become a Blood Lancer. Blood Lancer guilds guard the secrets of their blood lances from any and all outsiders and will track down and kill anyone known to have spread information about the magical weapons to someone outside the guild. Blood Lancers and Blood Magus are natural enemies, the two types of spell casters despise each other and most will go into all out battle if one knows the profession of the other. Requirements: Craft Magic Arms and Armor feat Combat Reflexes feat Dodge feat Knowledge (Arcana): 8 ranks Spell Craft: 8 ranks Concentration: 8 ranks Jump: 4 ranks Climb: 4 ranks Special: Must be accepted into a Blood Lancer Assassins guild and must be able to cast the 3rd level arcane spell, Fly. Hit Dice: d4 Skill Points Ever Level: 2 + Int modifier Class Skills: Jump (Str), Climb (Str), Concentrate (Con), Knowledge (Arcana) (Int), Spell Craft (Int), Intuit Direction (Wis), Listen (Wis), Spot (Wis), Search (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Hide (Dex), and Listen (Wis). Improved Fly (Ex): This replaces the normal speed of any Fly spell that a Blood Lancer casts. Improved Attack (Ex): This ability resembles the rogue's sneak attack ability. Stirge Familiar (Su): If the Blood Lancer doesn't already have a familiar, he is granted one by his affinity to the blood sucking monster known as the Stirge. The creature has all the statistics of a normal familiar for the lancer's level when summoned. Blood Drain (Su): A Blood Lancer is granted the ability to cause extra damage to foes that he or she strikes with their lance and be healed of an equal amount of damage at the same time. By using their lance, they drain the blood from an enemy and convert it to life energy for themselves, causing an extra 2d6 points of damage from blood drain The Blood Lancer can use this ability once per day per point of constitution modifier.
