Hulk 2 rumors

God, I hope not. The biggest problem with the Hulk was all those goofy cutscreens, fades, etc... Lee was making an art film and forgot that his audience was comic book fans and kids who wanted to see an action movie...
I was expecting that, but I don't know if the problem is so much Ang Lee's directing, or the screenplay.

I actually liked Lee's directing. Call me crazy, but all those fades and such made it feel MORE like a comic to me. Just like page transitions and the move from frame to frame...

However they decide to go foward with this production chances are I will go watch it. The 1st one was not great but it entertained me. Which is all I require from a movie.

Ya ain't crazy. Hulk was a very good movie with the one exception of the final battle. Otherwise it was well done and very stylish. I am looking forward to the second one if the production team stays in tact.

Spider-man! Wolverine! Spidey witht eh Captain Universe power (or whatever it's called).

Yep which just proves the point - the Hulk is NOT a superhero and should never be seen as one. The Hulk is a monster, he is the villain and the movie should be a monster movie epic on the lines of King Kong, Frankenstein and the Wolfman (the characters the Hulk aligns with best)

Thats why Hulk vs the military was a good choice whereas Hulk vs Abomination isn't (do we really want a remake of King Kong meets Godzilla?)

Probably a little from Column A, a little from Column B. The end result was sure not pretty though. Mixing 'god-awful dull' with 'quirky' is certainly a recipe for disaster.

I look forward to the potential 27-car pileup that is X3 way more than a Hulk sequal.

I liked the Hulk too, i enjoyed the hulk more than either of the spiderman or x-men movies, Spiderman was plain boring (a complaint many hulk naysayers have, but at least hulks combat was interesting) and x-men was screwed up from the get go, if your going to be creative with a comics characters at least make it something recognizable to the comic they came from.
Anyway, I always thought Leader should be the Hulk 2 villain.
