Got another Paizo product review up over at seekersofsecrets.com website, this time for Humans of Golarion!

I'm a big fan of the Players Companion line and this is another great player resource to bring some life and understanding into their view of Golarion.

I was really disappointed by this book. It was just a reprinting of the racial pages from the new Inner Sea campaign book and the rest of the book wasn't much cop.

I concur. I hope the other race books are better.

The racial ones are worth the money because of the extras you get and the info. I don't know why Paizo put out a reprint of current fluff rather than new material.

I think it's probably for the seperation of the player and DM book lines.

All of that material had been printed in the DM line, but if players don't have that and pick this up there would be a large gap in knowledge.

I double checked today. It is the same material, but it's not reprinted verbatim. Given how cheap HoG is and the sort of product it is, I think they can be "forgiven" a little. But, yeah, if you buy everything, it seems like a waste.
