I can identify a disturbing number of those games just from one-liners too.

I lucked out with two in a row "PC1: I Fireball the Gnolls! PC2 NOoo... (his new character was a Gnoll prisoner)" Followed immediately by "Boy he looks mad... Can I uncast that last Fireball?" Heh, that was perfect.

AUghhh...!!! I just don't get it, who is this 'Hastur' person, and why is sayin his name so bad? I didn't think it too compelling to ask when it was only in one sig line, but now I gotta know.

The same reason saying Chtulhu over and over is bad (only easier to spell/ pronounce). He's (I belive, all 3rd hand info here...) one of the Elder gods along with Chtulhu (Which I've misspelt twice now), and Nlyaronotep (spelt that way wrong too...). Speaking their name can bring them and death and destruction and you get the picture...
