They didn't catch her, and she ended up with better groceries than she started with!She, too, speaks many languages, including Esperanto! She came over as a war bride in 1946 (she and my grandfather didn't speak each other's languages when they started dating, so they used French-English dictionaries to communicate), and is my last living grandparent. I'm glad she's still with us, and my daughter will be able to know her, too.</blockquote>
