Message: <blockquote data-quote="Kobold Avenger" data-source="post: 4970086" data-attributes="member: 779">What are some interesting hybrid characters you can think of?  I'm not looking into concepts that are specifically optimized combos or even ones involving classes that have a previewed hybrid class entry, just interesting ideas for hybrid characters.  Some that I can think of are:Haunted One (Telekinetic Psion/Stalker Shaman) - As a child you were blessed and cursed with the attention of enigmatic entities that followed you everywhere.  It seems as if someone was always watching out for you, as misfortune always seemed to come to those who meant you the even slightest harm.  Thus it seemed that you were a cursed, and you were shunned by others lest your curse claim their lives in an unfortunate accident.  Your moods seemed to bring ruin with you as inanimate objects seemed to take a life of their own, but you knew in your heart you were never alone.  One day someone came forward to you and revealed he was always there with you, watching you, always unseen and he became your constant companion at your call teaching you the secrets of controlling the world around you.  Arcane Strategist (Wizard/Warlord) - You always enjoyed games, games of strategy, games that tested your wits and knowledge.  Always a curious one, you pried the the very workings of reality.  For you it was all about the challenge and the ability to manipulate the rules you mastered.  You knew the secrets and you knew the inner workings of things, you knew that only greatness could be destined for you.  It was only natural that you came to study at a prestigious war academy.  But as you were studying military tactics and warfare, you realized just how limited such things were.  Drawing upon your early ventures into nature of reality, you soon found yourself drawn towards learning the arcane itself as one of your avenues of the game you play yourself against fate.Tiefling Fey Knight (Warlock/Paladin) - You weren't born of the fey and had no connection to Feywild as a Tiefling.  You traveled far and wide seeking the kingdom of the Fey Lords of deception as you knew they possessed a power more subtle and effective than the lords of the Hells that your ancestors sold their souls to.  After years of wandering you fell into Feywild, among the courts of Autumn and Winter.  The lords of the fey saw great potential in one as you as a guest among their courts, learning their arts of war and arcane secrets it was as if you became one of them.  Being a part of courtly intrigues among the fey, you began to seek the guidance of the ancient deities that the Fey worship, and in turn they chose an outsider such as you to be their champion.</blockquote>
