I'm a bit confused by the language of the HT Feat:

1) HT states you can take it a second time at 11th level if you don't take a Paragon Path.

2) The only language I can find in the PHB regarding not taking a Paragon Path is under the Paragon multiclassing rules.

So, either I've missed something about not taking a Paragon Path, or you can only take HT a second time if you've multiclassed AND taken all the power swap feats.

Anyone able to enlighten me?

Look under p.136 in PHB3 (Paragon Tier Hybrids). You gain HT for free if you forgo a paragon path. This is a hybrid variant of paragon multiclassing... no need to multiclass or take power swap feats.

The Special entry in the HT feat description just notes an exception to the 'take a feat only once' rule: if you've taken the Paragon Tier Hybrids route and gained its free HT bonus feat, that doesn't prevent you from taking HT once in addition to that.
