I'll have to back Buttercup and joe b on this one, since I am a wife, a mother, and D&D player, and do fantasy art. Naked women or men for that matter, doesn't offend me as long as its done tastefully. I looked at all the covers, and can't quite get past the poses, and unrealistic nature. The art is very good, the skimpiness of dress on most of their covers I can overlook. Their poses and degree of unrealistic dress, however, just screams vulgarity to me. I know most D&D players catch heat enough from non-D&D players, and its hard enough to explain to others without product covers like this, it certainly doesn't help matters. As a mother, my 9yr old sometimes plays with us, do you really think I would have that book at our table with him sitting there......umm.....No! I hope I can speak for other mothers out there where I'm glad I have a healthy young boy with intrests in women and such, but if he were to bring home a Pokemon, or Yu-gi-yo, that looked like that, I would be furious and wonder what kind of game he was playing. I would never have learned D&D if my husband hadn't persistantly wanted me to play. I can say I probably would have never taken him or the game seriously if he would have used one of their products instead of WotC or MP. In conclusion, I think they could have done much better than the suggestive pose, the rest could have been overlooked, although with a touch of more realism.
