WE ARE GOING TO GET THE SETTINGS BACK!!! ONE PER YEAR!

Yes, for the five years until the next edition.

So which five are you hoping they bring back?

FRCS was 2008
Eberron is 2009...

That leaves three of
Oriental Adventures (Kara-Tur)
Al-Qadim
Maztica
Ravenloft
Dragonlance
Planescape
Birthright
Jakandor
Council of Wyrms
Greyhawk

I'm sure I've forgotten some, too.

Uh... Dark Sun?

I put my money that either planescape or darksun is number 3 or 4. Dark Sun will release when the 4e psionic handbook comes out and planescape will release with some planar handbook.

I think we will also see Ravenloft, Dragonlance and Spelljammer all return and made as amazing as they can get them to be.

Greyhawk will only surface if there is enough demand, but I would guess it won't make it.

Birthright might get rebuilt and relaunched by I think that is unlikely too.

I think we will see another new settting to be honest, before those last two.

Oriental Adventures will include the monk, samurai, shujenga and ninja I bet ;)

This is great BUT.....

But if you don't have a strong computer service / connection then what?!?

and was 4e a requirement for making it a computer game?

**** I am not complaining just to complain. I live in the sticks in a state known for living in the sticks. My computer is on modem using 1960's phone lines. I run between 21 and 24 vs a 56 system. Cable is not offered here and due to the valley and location of the house satellite is out also.

It takes 5-10 minutes just to open the WoTC homepage. What will DI be like?

oh well........

DirecTV announced this week they are partnering with a service provider that offers broadband over electrical lines. The first trial is in a city (Dallas/Fort Worth) but I could see this as a viable service to rural customers in a year or two.

The FCC is also aware that people in rural areas haven't been given a fair shake when it comes to broadband service and I believe they enacted legislation to make it more attractive (or less expensive) for rural service providers to upgrade their equipment. Maybe you're not seeing this in 2007, but you might by 2009.
