i didn't write FR: Anauroch

Due to somekind of error, my name appears on the cover of the new FR book Anauroch: Empire of Shade. The name that should be there instead of mine (and is listed correctly in the credits) is Skip Williams. I had nothing to do with the book.

If you like the book, great, but I didn't have anything to do with it (grats to Greg, Thomas, and Skip tho!).
If you don't like the book, I'm sorry, but I didn't have anything to do with it.

I don't know if they can/will correct this in any reprints (if it goes to reprint, I have no idea). In any case, it's not my book.

While we are at it, I didn't write it either. :)

That is a pretty significant boo-boo to make past the editors and QA. Makes me think that either the WoTC folks are waaay too engrossed in 4E development to notice or they are really bad at QA stuff.

That is boundless modesty in action! Cheers to you for setting the record straight in this regard :)

Jeebus, how clueless do you have to be to screw up the title credit?

Not much. I've seen it happen lots of times with different books, from different parts of the publishing industry.

It's something that shouldn't happen, but it sometimes happen.

My first credit in an RPG book was misspelled, btw. :D
