Re Complainer Y always revealing stuff about their own world-view rather than your design/writing, I'm afraid saying that's always the case is just adjacent to or even the same as the sad dodgy thinking that "People who complain about racism are the real racists!" etc. Occasionally it will be fair to say Complainer Y doesn't have a legitimate objection, because being real, there's always someone whose TikTok bio claims they are a "minor" but also "22 years old" (this indicating a rather specialist worldview) and raises sophomoric and generic complaints or is clearly trying to score points or w/e but these people never get far. More often though there is a legit issue, or at least very bad optics, that it is perfectly reasonable to point out. You can get mad and say "it's all fiction!!!" but, if for example, your portrayal of orcs precisely matches ultra racist stuff said about black and asian people, that's more than a mere quirk or fiction. That's actually creepy and offensive to perfectly reasonable people, like it or not. You don't have to go to jail or w/e but you should probably reconsider whether that's what you want to go with and clarify things somewhat, maybe change things so it's no longer a precise match at least.
