Oh Bucky the fighter died, well I'll hang myself? get real, wow once I get to a high enough level I can cast spells for real........if you beileve that then it is obvious who the stupid one is. My family finally figured out that the music of the rock band KISS wasn't going to make me a horrible devil worshipper and that I was smart enough to tell the difference between a character sheet and a real person. My first character loss was really a tough one for me (I was 10) I had to erase the name off the top of the character sheet and think up a new one, Bucky the fighter version 2, back in action. (Ok his real name was Argon, Prince of Cobalt, who says you don't learn anything in science class.) People who have problems with D&D had problems before D&D and are just using it as a outlet. If it wasn't for D&D it would be somethong else, as many people use Christianity as a outlet as do D&D, as this so obviously illustrates.Man there's nothing like a good book burning (just like the Nazi's used to do) to show people the way, did he realize how fanatical he made the "Christians look?" preacher dude was sort of scary looking. Of course maybe I got off easy because the DM never yelled at me to leave the room because I was dead, they just told me to make up a new character, or the cleric just raised the character from the dead. Next time I game I'm going to yell "your dead, shut up and leave, you can't play anymore" when a character dies, maybe that's what is missing from my campaigns.</blockquote>
