Chapter 1 is a races and classes chapter. They describe the various kinds of humans as well as what makes the races unique to Pathfinder. Gnomes, long ago, originated from the "first world", since planes are called worlds here. All the elves left for another world long ago (except a few ... shhhh don't spoil that part) and returned when humans were civilized enough to reason with. Classes has some options (northern barbarians have resistance to cold instead of trap sense) (fighters that attend a war college lose the 1st level bonus feat and gain additional class skills, and more skill points), etc. Chapter 2 is the timeline, days of the week, months of the year, etc. Chapter 3 is the NATIONS!!! They are in alphabetical order. And unlike some concerns, There are some good nations. Andoran (aka home of the Darkmoon Veil) is a NG nation, known as the "Birthplace of Freedom". Osirisan gives me some great adventure ideas (don't want to say to much since some of my group hangs out here). This is where the bulk of the page count goes. Chapter 4 is religions. The 20 major deities get about a paragraph, plus the standard stat block (portfolio, alignment, domains, favored weapon, etc). I wish there could be more there, but there's the Campaign setting book plus the gods book coming in the next few months so ok. Lastly there's the poster size map. Those that saw the Blog map, its the same basic map, but is much higher quality in PDF form (as opposed to JPG) and is much more complete. This book really is good if you want a short overview to make your own game, instead of following an adventure path. I'd call this an inspiration book since nothing is covered in GREAT detail, but the plot hooks are EVERYWHERE!
