Ok. I had 12 for the first one, my second answer was wrong, and I couldn't find anything for the third. Thanks Nagol and Ahzad!!!

  • Blackmoor = Mystara* (also known as The Known World) *this is where Dave Arneson's original Blackmoor Campaign Setting was situated, however there was an Arctic area of the original Greyhawk that was also called Blackmoor, though I believe it's different than Arneson's setting.

Technically, Blackmoor was retconned into Mystara. I know I'm being nitpicky, but this should be quite obvious, considering that Blackmoor was the original setting for the game that would become D&D. Quite impossible for it to be "within" Mystara when that setting hadn't even been created yet.

While my reply is months old, an equally valid reply to this particular part of the question would be "Blackmoor"

The only thing WoG Blackmoor and Arneson's Blackmoor had in common was the name, everything else was indeed seperate.

:-)

So I've been trying to figure this one out all week and can't find anything.

This bonus question is a little different than the rest. This one in a code question.

Reward: 150,000 (group)
Question:

What doe a "A" represent

PHB1ED-16,8="done"-48,36="dead"-117,1= "A"

Any ideas? I'm sooooooooooooooooo lost...

What does "A" represent

PHB1ED-16,8="done"-48,36="dead"-117,1= "A"

From left to right:

PHP1e, 16th page, 8th word => done
PHP1e, 48th page, 36th word => dead
PHP1e, 117th page, 1st word => ... well, in my book, it's "matrixed", however, on that same page:

Non-psionic creatures can be attacked psionically only by attack mode A.,
psionic blast. This attack mode cannot be used by distracted creatures as
shown above.

Sorry its been so long. Here is the new Bonus question of the week:

Question: Hackman the Champion (STR 17; INT 11; WIS 9; DEX 16; CON 15; CHR 12; CMS 10) is exploring an abandoned mine in search of treasure rumor has that was left behind by the dwarvish miners many years ago. Deep into the tunnels he travels until he reaches a 10-foot wide chasm. On the other side of the chasm the tunnel continues deeper into the mines and possible rewards.
Hackman ponders for a moment before pulling from his backpack a 50-foot rope. He removes his armor and weapons and ties everything together with the rope. He now wears only his clothing as he secures the remaining 40-feet of rope to his waist. He places his equipment 5 feet from the edge of the chasm and backs up 25 feet to get a good run. He charges the chasm and leaps over the chasm. On a d4 he rolls a 3 and on a d20 he rolls a 17 and on a d6 he rolls a 6. What happens to Hackman and explain why.

the d20 would likely be his Athletics/Jump check. If I recall correctly, Falling damage was 1d6 per 10 feet, (which changed to d10 per 10 feet in 4e, also iirc) so I'm inclined to say he failed the jump check, except it's only 10 feet, which he should have made no problem.

So honestly, I'm not really sure.
