First off I want to apologize if this doesn't belong in this forum but myself and a few others are potentially going to start working on a project. Here's a small blurb.

"Although traditional options such as Meetup, Facebook and Word of Mouth are great resources, they rely on one person posting or mentioning something, then another person stumbling upon it. What we're potentially working on is... I hate saying it like this, but think OkCupid for finding players and games. Not in a dating way obviously but we'll track things like location, availability (days and hours), whether you like to run, play or both, are you ok with smoking, drinking, pets, etc.. We'll also try to capture play preferences of both GMs and players. Do you tend to run Dungeon Crawls? Something more narrative? Political Intrigue? Then, rather than someone posting and hoping someone stumbles upon it. The system would take these variables and build "matches" based on mutual preferences. The end goal of course would be not only to be able to find games faster and easier, but also improve the quality of your games by matching you with like-minded GMs and players."

Although I feel like this would be a great thing to have, we really need to see if that's true or not. As such I created the following survey.

If you could please fill it out I'd be very thankful. All answers are totally anonymous, so if you think it's a crap idea, that's perfectly fine, but tell us so!

I can see this potentially weeding out the flaky people like which plagues roll20.net thus forcing GMs to charge money so people are more inclined to stick to a game.
