Well, see ya later pathfinder folks. Just played my first game of D&D 5e last night and I am hooked. Gettin rid of my pathfinder books this week. Time to bury the 3.5 rule for good and move on... see ya later chumps!

Since you are new to these boards, I would recommend reading the rules before posting. Verbal personal attacks on people, previous editions or fans of other rpgs are considered to be extremely rude on these boards and will quickly bring negative attention from both other members and the Moderators.

"Keep it civil: Don't engage in personal attacks, name-calling, or blanket generalizations in your discussions. Say how you feel or what you think, but be careful about ascribing motives to the actions of others or telling others how they "should" think. People seeking to engage and discuss will find themselves asking questions, seeking clarifications, and describing their own opinion. People seeking to "win an argument" sometimes end up taking cheap shots, calling people names, and generally trying to indimidate others. My advice: don't try to win."

Well maybe the tones are bad, but I'm curious: how many EN users will switch from PF to 5th?

Speaking for myself, it's not strictly an "Either/Or" deal. I can have the rules for and play BOTH, depending on the groups I'm involved in.

I'm cerntainly not going to "Dump" Pathfinder after the time and effort I've already invested in playing, not to mention that I still intend to suport Paizo in addition to Wizards for 5E.

That said, I'm liking what I've seen for 5E so far (though the bloom is still on the rose), and I've been a little let-down by the latest Paizo supplement [Advanced Class Giude]. (In my [non-expert] opinion, it's the first true example of "Power-Creep" working it's way into the PF system...)

Chumps?

Look, it is great to love a game. But you can love a game without being down on other games, or the players of those games. Tearing down other things doesn't make your thing better.
