Heh. Some interesting contradictions there. If you want this character to be _really_ powerful, I suggest making him a pure Fighter, as he will get access to the godly Epic Feats at a more rapid feat once he hits 20th. Here's what I would do for a purely min-maxed Human Fighter level 30, who wields a Bastard Sword, and has no interest in speed: Human Fighter Level 30, 28 Total Feats, 12 Normal, 16 Fighter, with 9 of those being Epic Feats. Name: Mister Methodical. I can't recall whether or not you have a limit on Epic Feats. I'll just ignore it as I don't care to look it up right now: Base Ability Scores: 18 Base Strength. Mister Methodical needs to be able to chop down his opponents in a few blows once he gets close. 18 Base Constitution. Mister Methodical needs to be able to survive being so slow to get close enough. 8 Base Intelligence, Wisdom, and Dexterity. Mister Methodical is not very smart, wise or fast. Mister Methodical never figured out his way of life and style of fighting isn't very effective. 16 Base Charisma. Mister Methodical looks damn purty, though. Statistic Increases: 7 total. 7 in Constitution. Mister Methodical really needs to be able to survive all the hits he's going to take going so slow. +5 Tome to put in Constitution, and a +6-10 Item. +4 Tome of Strength, and a +6-8 Item for Strength as well. Armor and Weapon: +Whatever Full Plate with any number of the following enchantments: Heavy Fortification, Reflection/Great Reflection, Arrow Deflection/Infinite Arrow Deflection, Acid Resistance/Warding, etc. Mister Methodical must have something to prevent those pesky ranged guys from ever so easily destroying him, since he is too stupid to move fast to get up to them. ;) +Whatever Bastard Sword with any number of the following enchantments: Lawful/Lawful Power (Lawful is slow, I figure) Bane/Dread (Some fast or smart creature), Everdancing, (for those times he just can't muster the willpower to move forward that horrible 20 ft distance and swing himself). For other items I'd suggest mostly defensive enchantments, like Iron Skin, Resistance, etc. Mister Methodical just doesn't see the point in fast, offensively minded enchantments that increase how fast he can kill his enemies. He prefers to take his time. ;) Feats, Normal (from various sources): Weapon Focus: Bastard Sword, Weapon Specialization: Bastard Sword, Improved Critical: Bastard Sword, Knock Down, Power Attack, Sunder, Bullheaded, Great Fortitude, Iron Will, The Various Toughness Feats 10 Times. (Toughness, Dwarven Toughness, Giants Toughness, Dragons Toughness.) Feats, Epic: Your choice of: Armor Skin, Fast Healing, Epic Fortitude, Epic Toughness, Epic Weapon Focus, Epic Weapon Specialization Overwhelming Critical, Devestating Critical. That's just off the top of my head of course. I basically see this guy as having amazingly high hitpoints and defense against both spells and physical attacks. With his philosophy, he couldn't have survived otherwise PS Of course, if I were you, I'd just drop the campaign and the players. Bleah. Good luck, you need it.
