I am looking for someone open minded to help me make Argonautic Press a reality. What is Argonautic Press? It is my vision for an imprint to sell modules and campaign settings set mainly on the Planet Earth and specifically designed with education in mind.
Argonautic Press will cover historical fantasy genres from mythology such as the mythic Hellas (Greece), mythic Egypt, mythic China, and mythic India. We will also translate real historical events into campaign settings or modules such as the Roman Invasion of Britain. We can cover all the mysterious places in the world with a module with a Pulpy feel (i.e. Indiana Jones type adventures). And lastly, but not least, we can do regular adventures and campaign settings with themes like a Savage World.
What I need is an open minded investor willing to team up with me. I can write some of the modules, unfortunately I need an investor to help pay the costs. Argonautic Press' targets the younger, newer, mature gamer. None of our work will be under the D20 License because some of my modules will be truthful about a particular culture.
For instance, since I am translating Jason and the Argonauts, and since the Ancient Hellenes had a penchant for competing in the nude and there is Olympic Scenes, there will be scenes of simple, wholesome nudity in the module. If you are interested in teaming up, give me a buzz at:
