Help needed. I am going to be playing in a one or two time game that is being run by a friend that wants see what a 20th level game should look like. He has challenged us to use any source to create our characters... so I have chosen to enlist the help of the ENWorld msg boards.

Any thing would be helpfull. race class combos, class combos ect...
using the MM 3.5 , a monsteruos race with SR would be great but I do not yet understand if the L.A. includes the creatures HD or not so I'm in a real pickle.

Thanx for any help you can give

Dude, Sorcerer/Rogues are so damn fun. :D

Just make sure to take enough Sorcerer levels to get some of those righteous utility spells, and some decent Illusion spells.

Other suggestions:

*Druid 20 - raw, raw power.
*Fighter/Rogue - you can rock out some tumble attacks, muchly.
*Monk 20 - could be fun? I've never given it a shot.

Level Adjustment doesn't include hit dice. ECL does. LA + HD = ECL.

Another one I like is the Epic rogue. If you're playing a one shot campaign, definitely go with the Barb, but if it's a long-run campaign, rogues are great. There are some sweet epic feats for his sneak attack, plus two epic feats: Dextrous Will and Dextrous Fortitude (or somesuch, I don't recall).

Basically, use your Reflex save (which will be monstrously high for a dextrous rogue) instead of a will save or a fort. save. You will have to make pretty tough saves at epic levels, and with these two feats, you'll be saving left and right while the fighter will stand paralysed and the wizard will succomb to poisons.

Elven Rogue 3/Wizard 6/Arcane Trickster 10/Archmage 1 :)

Or if you can live without 9th level spells, Sorcerer instead of Wizard.

Bye

A few suggestions...

Barbarian 20: A pure barbarian, armed with a greataxe or greatsword and feats like Power Attack, is capable of inflicting tremendous amounts of damage in combat. They're also exceptionally good at absorbing damage.

Cleric 20: You can't go wrong playing as a cleric. You have decent fighting capabilites, good hit points, powerful healing and protection spells, and even a few decent attack spells. Add a level or two of the Hierophant prestige class for even more fun.

Fighter 10/Dwarven Defender 10: If you want a character who is harder to kill than a cockroach, be a dwarven defender; high AC and hit points, damage reduction, and the defensive stance ability will make this guy hard to kill using anything less than a tactical nuclear strike. :D

Just to be different ;)

Savage Species:

Feral Efreeti (genie)

This will give you a 20th level character with a lot of interesting abilities, you wont be incredibly over or underpowered in all likelyhood, but it should be fun!
