I have a Rogue 10 / Swashbuckler 3 Tiefling. He's pretty much set on the offensive damage (Imp. Two-Weapon, Daring Outlaw, Craven, Staggering Strike). Str 16, Dex 24, Con 14, Int 18, Wis 12, Cha 8. I feel that any more levels in Rogue or Swashbuckler won't really help improve him in areas that I am concerned about. More skill points would be nice, but my high Int helped me keep plenty of them boosted. My main concern is the lower Fort & Will (mostly Will). I could also use a boost in hitpoints. My other main concern is that I want to spice the PC up with more available (quirky) options. I don't want to just get more sneak attack damage. I'm already happy with my damage output (although more damage for non Sneak Attack hits would be nice). I can't decide what else to level up in. PrCs are hard to qualify for at this point since I didn't plan ahead. I also haven't seen anything that interested me. I thought of going a few levels in Cleric to give me some extra options. Better Fort & Will, more HP, and I would like the +10 Speed (and Expeditious Retreat spell) for choosing the Celerity Domain (I love getting extra speed or movement benefits). The problem here is crappy skill points and not being able to add them to skills I care about (not interested in Domains that give class skills). The other problem is that Will & Cha are my dump stats and I lose out on the clerical abilities. Selecting a feat like Divine Vigor would help deal with my lack of wanting to use Turn Undead. But even those sort of feats are wasted with my terrible Cha. Offensive spells would be a waste with the low DC, and defensive spells would barely last with my bad dump stats. It would be nice to make use of the high Int score with some sort of Arcane casting. But I'm still a front line melee guy and most of those classes will give me barely any hitpoints. Can anyone give me some suggestions for a class to dip in that I can benefit from and have some fun new abilities to play with? I prefer that it still allows me to play the melee fighting role though. Most 3.5 WotC books are available except for Tome of Battle, PHB 2, and Spell Compendium.
